17 February 2012 : The clubhouse improvements are now basically completed and a full photographic display will be added to the webpage shortly. Our club offers surf and beach experiences for children 7- 13 years in our Nippers program, 14- 18 years in Cadets and on to senior competition. Skills in surf-awareness, life saving, boat rowing, board and ski paddling, opportunities to achieve Bronze Medallion status, First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation Certificate, Surf Rescue Certificate and IRB Driver & Crew are just some of the many courses on offer.

Whilst the local council owns the building, the members work to raise funds for club extensions and equipment. The club is self-sufficient in the day to day running of the organization.

The management structure consists of an Executive and a General Committee which meets monthly with representative from each area of the organisation. Our core business is lifesaving with beach patrols operating during the summer months.

Competition runs alongside the community service we offer. Skill development and competition ensures our members are trained and proficient, ensuring quality patrols on our main beach supplemented by random patrols of outlying beaches at West Ulverstone and Turners Beach. So welcome to our website and enjoy our club.
