On Sunday June 16th, a room full of interested members attended our club Annual general meeting to review the year gone by & elect a new Board of Management for the coming financial year. It was also the occasion of Special General Meeting to discuss & amend our club Constitution & By-laws to reflect the current recommendations from SLST for these documents.
Congratulations to the outgoing Board of Management for a diligent & productive collaboration guiding our club through another year of its complex existence. The job they do is challenging, ever-present and sometimes thankless, but (hopefully) also satisfying and rewarding as they make a valuable contribution to our club & our community. Thanks go to Lyndon O'Neil & Tully O'Neil as they step down from their official roles, but will most likely continue to contribute around the club. Welcome back to Prue McCulloch who resumes the role of Junior Activities Co-ordinator. Our President & Vice President have swapped roles to provide ongoing guidance for our Board & the wider club & we wish the new Board every success in the year ahead.
