Grape Picking:

A cheque for $2,157 has been received from Barringwood Park Vineyard for our fundraising efforts which is a sensational result and a credit to everyone who gave of their time to assist. The amount represented a total of 7.7 tonnes for the Tuesday 20th April pick, while just over 10 tonnes was achieved over the combined Sunday and Monday sessions, 25th and 26th April. Again, a fantastic job and many thanks to everyone involved, including Mike Holland who is our yearly go-between with the vineyard.

Telstra "Answer the Call":

The local CODAS team have pulled out all stops in terms of the latest Telstra sponsorship involving purchase of eligible broadband and mobile phone packages. As at the 21st March, we have already earned a fantastic $4,680, seven times what we made for the entire season in 2008-09. This is an outstanding effort and we sincerely thank Brett, Brenden and the team for promoting the initiative and of course all the customers who have nominated USLSC as their receiving club for sponsorship payments. If you ever want to see how the promotion is going, you can look up every club in Australia via the following quick link.
